Our Founder

Jean Craig-Teerlink is the owner of the studio, creator of the work and primary contact for every client.
This reflects her conviction that great design cannot happen without skill, intelligence and, especially, personal commitment.

Her work encompasses graphics and identity, installations and interiors, products and packaging, websites and digital experiences, illustrations and communications.

She led the design of brand identities for Avery Dennison, BlueCross BlueShield, Sierra Club, VISA International and NeXT Computer, where she worked with Steve Jobs and Paul Rand to realize major product introductions, award-winning selling tools, brand collateral and product packaging.

She honed her craft at Landor Associates, Clement Mok designs and Northeastern University Publications.

Craig-Teerlink's work is recognized by the AIGA, Graphis, and Print publications among others. Her visual research has been published and exhibited internationally. She served as Assistant Chair, Graphic Design at the California College of the Arts (CCA) and taught at CCA, University of California Santa Cruz (UCSC) and San Jose State University.

Craig-Teerlink completed a BFA graduating magna cum laude in graphic design from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, an MFA from the Basel School of Design (Schule für Gestaltung Basel, Switzerland) studying with Armin Hofmann, Adrian Frutiger and Wolfgang Weingart, and specialized design courses at Yale and Harvard Universities.
